During our most recent travels to Miami SOBE we had the opportunity to experience some of the most amazing restaurants and hotels. Many of our followers have asked us for a list of our reco's, so I thought I'd share on the blog.
1 Hotel South Beach Miami
Hotel Atmosphere: Luxury, Relaxing, Great Pool Music (not your party thumping crowd, thank goodness), Spa-like, Beachfront, Beautiful, High-end decor, Coastal Inspired Finishes, very serene, upscale.
Guest Service: Staff at Pools, Bars and Restaurants are amazing
Pools: 4 including adult pool on rooftop with amazing 360•views + cocktail bars/restaurants on every pool level.
Beachfront Chairs and Towels included and beach attendants/cocktail and food service on the beach
Where to Dine and Wine:
Purdy Ave- Sunset Harbor District
Stiltsville Fish Bar (Dining) Outstanding Award Winning Chef Couple Semi-Finalist James Beard Award, Delicious Tasting and Beautifully Presented Dishes and Cocktails
We literally ordered many dishes to taste from the entire menu and nothing disappointed the pallet, everything down to the incredible warm service and management was incredible!!
Sardinia (Italian dining)
Beautifully prepared, authentic , fresh pastas and inviting atmosphere.
Ice Box (Happy Hour)
Art Deco meets Modern Miami Atmosphere. Good pre-dinning cocktail and apps spot
Beachfront Dining/Cocktails- (Collins Ave. & Ocean Drive)
Bazaar by Josè Andrès at SLS Hotel SOBE Both indoor and outdoor dining options.
Atmosphere: Avant-garde“ tapas served with ”hip, clever style“ from ”genius“ chef José Andrés are ”not only a theatrical show, but delicious“ to boot at this ”trendy“ Spanish-Eclectic resto-lounge at the ”stylish“ SLS Hotel South Beach that comes off as a ”library in Liberace's mansion“
Bazaar’s Outside Patio Restaurant (HAPPY HOUR, M-TH 6-8pm)
Must ASK for the exclusive Happy Hour Menu (food and drink)
The dining/food whether you eat from happy hour menu or regular menu it’s all delicious
Atmosphere takes you back to old Miami socialite scene but not in a snobby uncomfortable way (its all good). Great place to cozy up on the couches and tables set in a romantic outdoor setting where Twinkling lights & pools and beautiful mingling and music are abound. It quickly became our favorite little pre-dinner spot.
Katsyua @SLS Hotel - Asian Cuisine Happy Hour or Main Dining
The menu selection is spot on for innovative Asian/Japanese cuisine.
I’d say the only draw back about this happy hour atmosphere is that it’s tucked away upstairs with no view and not outside (the local Celebrities love it because they can dine on amazing cuisine without being bothered by paparazzi). Their main dining room is beautiful.
The Satei Hotel (A must see)
”Jaya at The Setai” Asia fusion boasts standout dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, India, China and Japan. Named one of Miami’s “hottest new restaurants. Atmosphere is an incredible dining experience. Rivers flowing throughout the Atrium dining room, retractable ceiling for dining under the stars (dine in the atrium).
Cecconi’s If you’re hoping for a star sighting, your chances will be greatly improved by taking in a meal and the gorgeous decor—at Cecconi’s, the open-to-the-public Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the members-only Soho Beach House. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Miami outpost of the Venetian original serves up the same inspired dishes, from braised lamb ravioli with peas and pecorino to veal saltimbocca with sautéed spinach.

Joe and the Juice (Collins Ave)
Jaya Brunch at Setai Hotel
The Edition Hotel's Pool for Happy Hour (pretty sweet)
We heard K&K West just bought the penthouse at neighboring property.
Try the Editions Outdoor Dining Restaurant, looked awesome (we found it on our last night in town).

Coastal Society Boutique and Craft Cocktail Bar
Our story is a lot like many passionate, go getter entrepreneurs.
Here is how it started for us-
Get laid off, find yourself with years of valuable experience only to be beaten out for jobs you're clearly over qualified for, only to be told "your too expensive or too qualified".
My Hubby and I were both laid off from our very successful and fulfilling jobs within 3 months of each other. We were both creative, concept and change makers in the Marketing, Branding and Advertising field.
We were at the height of our careers and dedicated to continuing to build our corporate careers. However we had other interests that we felt just as passionate about. You see while we were growing our personal career brand we were also building a successful "side hustle" brand. Our "side hustle" had started to see a tremendous amount of organic growth and success. It remains a huge part of our journey and passion. That brand is called MI Coast and I'll dive deeper into our brand story at a later time (so stay tuned for more on that in another blog post, its a pretty spectacular story & brand).
Continuing on.... So with over 18 years of experience and options pretty slim (especially when they lay you off in the 4th quarter and nearing the holidays) we found ourselves at a cross roads. Instead of giving up we figured it was time to make Lemonade Vodka Cocktails out of Lemons! And that's when Coastal Society Boutique and Craft Cocktail Bar was born.
Step inside our coastal inspired cottage set amongst two beautiful courtyard patios and you're bound to naturally have your senses kicked into high functioning vacation mode.
Unwind, sit back and stay awhile. Ladies and Guys shopping the latest trends that we've carefully curated from globally and locally sourced designers. Men and Women chill'n outside on shaded patio loungers fully content sipping cocktails & beverages sourced from the finest brands. No matter your preference (Shopping or Sipping) the atmosphere at Coastal Society will transform you to a simpler time where you find yourself naturally on "Island-Time", chatting it up with old friends and mingling with new acquaintances (who will soon become fast friends of course).
Welcome to our full sensorial shopping experience, Welcome to Coastal Society.
If you find yourself traveling to Douglas/Saugatuck Michigan. Voted Best Beach Towns in America by Conde Nast Traveler and US News World Travel Report, be sure stop by, pull up a chair and stay awhile.
